THE FINE ARTS DEPARTMENT AT ROANOKE COLLEGE
The information in this page has been taken down as a matter of good faith
after recent discussions with Roanoke College's Campus Safety and the
college's Fine Arts Department.
I have been assured by the RCCS Assistant Director, John Grisetti, that he
is working in tandem with the Art Department head, Dr. Bruce Partin, as well
as Professor Liz Heil, to see that the problems formerly documented in this
page are being resolved.
John has requested that Roanoke College alumni who have artworks in
the college's possession should come forward to him, Dr. Partin, or Prof. Heil
for any of the following reasons:
- To document that the college is the rightful, permanent owner of the
artwork.
- To document that the college has permission to keep the artwork on
extended or permanent loan.
- To request the return of the artwork.
- To ask the college for documentation that it is in possession of
the artwork.
- To bring forward any problems the alumnus may have (or have had) with the
college's possession of the work.
